Dr. Desiree Paramore attended Florida A&M University, in Tallahassee, FL, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry/molecular biology. After completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Paramore decided to continue her education by attending Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was awarded a certificate in Biomedical Sciences and then obtained a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership in Biosciences. Further exploring her love of learning, especially in the health sciences, she decided to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, GA. Lastly, her final degree was also at Life University, earning a Master of Science degree in sport health science. Dr. Paramore found so much value in the sports health science degree because it strengthened her chiropractic degree, but also opened her eyes to the importance of treating soft tissues in addition to the chiropractic adjustment. As you can see, Dr. Paramore will not hesitate to gather as much information as possible to be outstanding in her field.
Dr. Paramore's philosophy is simple...treat with integrity while being authentic. She is not interested in long drawn-out, unnecessary treatment plans. She does not believe in over-treatment just for the sake of billing. She is committed to rehabilitating your injury and restoring your body to a pain-free or reduced pain-functioning state. She will work efficiently and effectively to get you better and stronger…Faster! If you do not present with symptoms, perfect! Dr. Paramore believes in adjustments to help your body maintain its current wellness state and function. Chiropractic is not only for the person in pain but for the wellness person who may not currently be experiencing pain.
As part of the FMI standard protocol, all patients will benefit from soft tissue massage focusing on muscles that may be weak or experiencing painful trigger points. In addition to the high-velocity deep tissue massage, we also offer PIR stretches that are performed after the adjustment without additional costs for these services. Dr. Paramore believes stretching is so important to the body, but unfortunately, most of us do not stretch enough.
